Here’s This Weekend’s Schedule For Rock 96.7

It never fails. You have some sort of function going on, you invite a bunch of friends and/or family over, and everybody fights over the music. "I want to hear Miley Cyrus!", or "Let's listen to Country music!" may be heard this weekend. If so, you need to do three things:

A) Punch that person in the face for their total lack of musical taste

B) Kick the offender out - after slashing their tires

C) Assert your authority and put on something that will please everybody...Rock 96.7!

Brandon molests your ears with Locals Only, an hour of nothing but local bands and information on the Casper music scene

10pm - Midnight Full Metal Jackie

This week Dave Mustaine of Megadeth guests on the show! I will be premiering new music from WINDS OF PLAGUE, we will have another MAD MINUTE with Oderus of Gwar, plus music from Black Sabbath, Slayer, Ministry & MORE!

Sunday

8am - 10am Racing Rocks

Racing Rocks! with Riki Rachtman is a music-intensive program that provides rock fans coast-to-coast with news, exclusive insights, interviews and dedicated coverage from the world of NASCAR, primarily the Sprint Cup racing series.

7pm - 10pm Hangar 19

Get in the Hangar with Cutter this weekend as we go behind the scenes of the new I-Max/3D movie, Metallica: Through the Never. We will hear from the band and the people who made this concert film possible, which opens in traditional 3D theaters this weekend.

Plus we have metal from the extended Metallica family like Exodus and Motorhead. We go In The Vault with Diamond Head, a Power Set of another bay area thrash metal band Testament, a look at the soundtrack for Mission Impossible 2 and a Then and Now from Ministry.

Three hours of old school metal every week inside Hangar 19.

10pm - Midnight Chop Shop

My unplugged pick of the week comes from Michael Schenker, The All-Star Salute will look at Jim Root of Slipknot and Stone Sour, and I reveal song #29 on the Chop Shop Top 50 songs of the last 10 years.
