It never fails. You have some sort of function going on, you invite a bunch of friends and/or family over, and everybody fights over the music. "I want to hear Lady Gaga", or "Let's listen to Country music!" may be heard this weekend. If so, you need to do three things:

A) Punch that person in the face for their total lack of musical taste

B) Kick the offender out - after slashing their tires

C) Assert your authority and put on something that will please everybody...Rock 96.7!

Whether you've got some buddies coming over for a card game, a night planned just hanging out, or some intense stalking to do, let us provide the tunes needed to make the night a success! Below is a list of what's happening on Rock 96.7, so you can plan accordingly - Enjoy the tunes, and have a great weekend!

Sunday

8am - 10am Racing Rocks

7pm - 10pm Hangar 19

With the news that Motorhead is about to release their 21st studio album and with the recent health scares of Lemmy, it is time to revisit the conversation that Cutter and Lemmy had last year.

Expect a lot of Motorhead music, plus a Power Set from the Iron Maiden 1988 masterpiece, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. We are going In the Vault with Living Colour from when they won the Newcomer of the Year award at the 1989 International Rock Awards.

Our Then & Now this week is from Annihilator, and we take a look at an apocalyptic science-fiction horror movie soundtrack Hardware, a movie that features a supporting role from non other than Lemmy. It is God himself plus 3 hours of classic metal inside Hangar 19.

10pm - Midnight Chop Shop

Steve Black here,

This week I will talk music with Zoltan Bathory of Five Finger Death Punch and Karnig from Charming Liars.

We will have guitar rock from Halestorm, STP, Chili Peppers, Volbeat and a 10th Anniversary moment with Tommy Thayer from Kiss.

My unplugged pick of the week is courtesy of Tesla. The All-Star Salute will look at Ty Tabor of Kings X, and I reveal song #32 on the Chop Shop Top 50 songs of the last 10 years.
