It never fails. You have some sort of function going on, you invite a bunch of friends and/or family over, and everybody fights over the music. "I want to hear Lady Gaga", or "Let's listen to Country music!" may be heard this weekend. If so, you need to do three things:

A) Punch that person in the face for their total lack of musical taste

B) Kick the offender out - after slashing their tires

C) Assert your authority and put on something that will please everybody...Rock 96.7!

Whether you've got some buddies coming over for a card game, a night planned just hanging out, or some intense stalking to do, let us provide the tunes needed to make the night a success! 7pm - 10pm Hangar 19

This weekend in the Hangar to go along with classic metal from Judas Priest, Suicidal Tendencies, Accept, Ozzy and more, we welcome the lead singer of not just one, but two metal bands.

His name is Dez Fafara and he is the frontman for both Coal Chamber and Devildriver.

Dez's favorite band is KISS so we have a Power Set from their 1976 album 'Destroyer' plus we'll go In The Vault with the original line-up of Megadeth and have a Heavy Metal Movie and Soundtrack Recommendation from the second incarnation of the Heavy Metal franchise.

Join Cutter and Dez Fafara for 3 more hours of old school metal inside Hangar 19.

10pm - Midnight Chop Shop

Steve Black here,

This week I will talk music with Dave Navarro of Janes Addiction and Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains. We will have guitar rock from Saving Abel, Stone Sour, Steve Vai, Avenged Sevenfold and a 10th Anniversary moment with Rex Brown from Pantera.

My unplugged pick of the week is Dream Theater covering a Rush song! The Hall of Fame Salute will look at Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top, and I reveal song #33 on the Chop Shop Top 50 songs of the last 10 years.
