Here’s This Weekend’s Schedule For Rock 96.7

It never fails. You have some sort of function going on, you invite a bunch of friends and/or family over, and everybody fights over the music. "I want to hear Lady Gaga", or "Let's listen to Country music!" may be heard this weekend. If so, you need to do three things:

A) Punch that person in the face for their total lack of musical taste

B) Kick the offender out - after slashing their tires

C) Assert your authority and put on something that will please everybody...Rock 96.7!

Saturday

9pm - 10pm Locals Only

Brandon molests your ears with Locals Only, an hour of nothing but local bands and information on the Casper music scene

10pm - Midnight Full Metal Jackie

This week Joey Jordison from Slipknot will be my guest on the show to chat about his new project Scar The Martyr! We will also get to new tunes from bands like Vista Chino & Dream Theater..And Classics from bands like Judas Priest, Testament & More!

Sunday

8am - 10am Racing Rocks

Racing Rocks! with Riki Rachtman is a music-intensive program that provides rock fans coast-to-coast with news, exclusive insights, interviews and dedicated coverage from the world of NASCAR, primarily the Sprint Cup racing series.

7pm - 10pm Hangar 19

This weekend in the Hangar we turn our classic metal sights to the Heavy Metal Elvis, Glen Danzig.

He and his band, plus special guest former Misfit band-mate Doyle Von Frankenstein, are out on the road celebrating the 25th anniversary of Danzig and doing Danzig legacy shows. It is time we turn our attention and celebrate the life of the mystical heavy metal legend.

There will be a live Danzig Power Set, we will go In The Vault with The Misfits, and have a Then & Now from Doyle. We will even take a look at Danzig in pop culture during our weekly movie and soundtrack recommendation.

Plus, metal from Rob Zombie, Ozzy, Ministry, Prong, Type O Negative (all of witch spawned members of Danzigs band) and more with Cutter inside Hangar 19.

10pm - Midnight Chop Shop

This week I will talk shop with Chris Henderson from 3 Doors Down and Noodles of the Offspring. We will have guitar rock from Pop Evil, Disturbed, Shinedown, Volbeat, Avenged Sevenfold, and a 10th Anniversary moment with Matthias Jabs of The Scorpions.   

My unplugged pick of the week comes from Zakk Wylde, the Hall of Fame Salute will look at the space man Ace Frehely, and I reveal song #34 on the Chop Shop Top 50 songs of the last 10 years.
