Over the summer, the Wyoming Blues And Jazz Society (WBJS) hosted their annual Wyoming Blues Challenge.

Some of Wyoming's best musicians showed up to compete for a chance to represent the equality state, and two winners emerged: Sheridan's Gary Small & The Coyote Brothers (best band), and Worland's D.J. Haley (solo artist)

Both acts will head to Memphis January 20th - 24th for the International Blues Challenge, in which they will test their skills against some of the world's top blues acts. The costs involved (flights, hotel, food, etc.) can be pretty daunting - which means any chance we get to help these folks out, we need to take.

This Saturday, the WBJS will be hosting it's final fundraiser at All That Jazz to help these folks get to Beale Street. Check out the press release below, and visit the Facebook Event Page here.

D.J. Haley (of Worland), and Gary Small & the Coyote’ Bros (from Sheridan) will be competing at the Blues Foundation’s 2015 International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN, January 20-24th.  Blues musicians from around the world will be there, representing their respective Blues Societies that are Affiliates of the Blues Foundation. Being able to compete in the IBC is a benchmark for any blues musician.

Please come out to All That Jazz, inside the Parkway Plaza Hotel, on Sat Jan 10th to see their final performance before heading to Memphis. Admission is only $10 at the door, and all proceeds  benefit Wyoming's only representatives in this world renowned event. Come early to get the best seats, show starts at 8:00.
