New Music Releases for April 16th
Yet another Tuesday, and while I loathe and despise Tuesdays, new music is always nice. This week...
Yeah Yeah Yeahs dropped MOSQUITO, the band's 4th studio album. Chock full of that great New York sound, the new album delivers the goods like only Karen O and company can.
Ghost BC finally released INFESSTISUMAM after a few setbacks, including a refusal to print CD's from 4 different printing companies. Satanic and Occultish to an almost hilarious degree, Ghost BC delivers the highly theatrical, old school hard rock goods that are expected from the Swedish outfit.
The Shouting Matches, featuring Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, released their debut record GROWNASS MAN. The album wades deeeep into garage rock territory, and is certainly worth a listen if you like that cool indie rock sound.
The Flaming Lips relased their 13th studio album THE TERROR, and it is comforting to know the band is still so far out there.... I wish I lived in whatever universe The Flaming Lips do.
Those are some of the records that came out today that I am all about. With all the rough weather out there, some new sounds might just keep you warm and cozy! ROCK!
