Having long-term goals is healthy. Starting a business, having so much in your savings account by a certain date, etc.

I'm also a big fan of having short term goals. Each week, I give myself some minor task to achieve. Make so many gallons of wine, get a honey-do or two marked off of the list...you know, little things.
