I love to BBQ. Any chance I get to whip up a meaty concoction in my back yard, I take it. My coworker Ron Roth feels the same way.

We are constantly calling each other out Facebook each week, just to show off what we threw on the grill. Because of this, people are constantly asking us for recipes - which got us thinking, "why don't we just record some videos and show the process?"

Each week, one of us will do a main dish, while the other does a side dish. This week, I show you how to make some killer steak sandwiches, while Ron shows you how to bust out some bacon wrapped asparagus...Enjoy!

Bacon Wrapped Asparagus -

What You Need -

1 bunch asparagus

½ cup lemon juice

½ lb thin cut bacon

Salt

Pepper

24 pack beer

Mix lemon juice with enough ice water to fully submerge asparagus.  Let chill for about an hour. Drink 2 beers while waiting.  Drain and pat dry with a paper towel.  Cut white ends off asparagus. Cool bacon for about 2 ½ minutes on each side over medium heat or until it browned.  Do not over cook! Drink 2 beers during this. (2 beers in 5 minutes is a challenge – but you can do it!) Lightly salt and pepper asparagus.

Without letting bacon cool, roll 3-4 asparagus spears in one strip of bacon, fully covering asparagus.  Place each roll on the grill on medium heat. Cook until bacon is crispy to your liking. Drink a couple more beers. Be careful pulling roll off grills o bundles don’t come unrolled.  If you burn yourself – pour ½ beer on the burned area. Drink the other half beer quickly. Serve while warm. Finish 24 pack of beer.
