If you're a fan of HBO's "Game of Thrones," then you might know its character The Mountain.

He's been featured off and on since the show's first season by various actors, but in the most recent season was portrayed by Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson.

The 26-year-old from Iceland has had an incredibly impressive strongman career.

Despite being only in his mid 20s -- and this just might be the most impressive, he managed to break a record that's been held for more than 1,000 years by lifting more than 1,400 pounds and walking five steps.

It's shocking that his back was able to hold the weight without shattering.
