The holidays can be a stressful time, and for ex-Anthrax guitarist Dan Spitz, Christmas was memorable for all the wrong reasons. South Florida's Gossip Extra reports that the guitarist was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and spent Christmas Day behind bars.

It's official: Anthrax are working on the follow-up album to 2011's 'Worship Music.' This should come as great relief to fans, as they waited eight years between 'We've Come For You All' and the most recent disc. As we all know, turmoil surrounded the band during those years and things within the Anthrax camp have since stabilized, allowing the band to get back to a regular album and tour cycle.

After the departure of Rob Caggiano in January, Anthrax were left without a lead guitarist, but the band quickly tapped Shadows Fall axeman Jonathan Donais to fill the void. Now, after a successful trek headlining the 2013 Metal Alliance tour and a bunch of international shows, Anthrax's Scott Ian has publicly stated that Donais is the new full-time shredder for the band.
