Red Jumpsuit Appartus Drops New Album

(alternativeaddiction) Red Jumpsuit Apparatus fans shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for the long awaited new album from the band.  Lead singer Ronnie Winter confirmed that the album is finished and the band is in the final stages of preparing it for release.

“It’s kinda like the night before Christmas every night until the record comes out,” Winter tells Alternative Addiction.  “We’re just so excited for everyone to hear it.”
As for a release date, Winter says it’s too early to name an actual date with everything left to be done.

“We are not 100% sure, this is our first major release we have done independently, so things are a lot different and we are taking our time,” explained Winter.  “But I can say that we are thinking April or May for a release date.”

Outside of the news of the band’s upcoming album, Winter shared some comments regarding the band Paramore and their recent lineup changes that revealed some details of the band’s history.

“There is a lot of talk lately about a certain band that everyone thought was a real band but it turns out was just built by a major label, marketed that way, and now certain members are angy,” says Winter.  “It was shown to kids that way for 3 or 4 years and I find that really annoying.  I’m a kid who came from a small town, we built this [band] on our own.  There is a difference between being handed that and doing it on your own, and it’s important for kids to know that they can really do it on their own, they need to know it’s possible.  We’ve always been a real band and knew where we came from.  Nobody ever told us what to do or tried to change our style.”

Winter’s comments are in response to Paramore founding members Josh (lead guitar) and Zac Ferro (drums) leaving the band in late 2010.  After their departure, Josh Ferro began sharing news via his personal blog that the band was “a manufactured product of a major-label,” and that lead singer Hayley Williams was the only member of the band who was signed to Atlantic Records, while her bandmates were simply "riding on the coattails of her dream."
