Wyoming’s Best Mac & Cheese?
MSN called it the “Most delicious road trip ever.” Looking for “The Best Macaroni and Cheese in Every U.S. State.” It must have been a gastronomical safari that had staffers climbing over one another to be in on.
Here in Wyoming, that honor has been awarded to Casper's HQ BBQ 70 S Curtis Street, Evansville, Wyoming. MSN lifestyle says; “It's called the epic mac and cheese for a reason – you can get it topped with grilled chicken and broccoli, cheeseburger or brisket chili.” A bowl runs $6.50, topped - $9.50.
Now, what about our neighbors, you know, in case we wanna road trip and try them all?
To our north, in Missoula Montana, the secret ingredient is crushed Doritos on top to secure 1st place. Fargo North Dakota has The Drunken Noodle, Rapid City South Dakota - the Dakotah Steakhouse.
In Omaha, Nebraska you go to Mark’s Food, Wine And Spirit. In Colorado, there is a bit of a disconnect with their Creamy Lobster Mac and Cheese at Mizuna in Denver. Seems odd for a land-locked state, but I would still try it in a New York minute.
In Utah, Salt Lake City’s Ruth’s Diner, while Boise Idaho is the home of the state’s best Mac ‘n' Cheese with Berryhill Restaurant & Bar.
Oh, and if you're in Cheyenne, Tasty Bonez BBQ has a very tasty Mac & Cheese. Just sayin'...
