Wyoming DCI Seeks Information in Death Investigation
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation wants to hear from anyone who may have information about the death of a man who was found with a gunshot wound inside a Douglas apartment over a year ago.
Dustin Bruegger, 24, had been shot in the chest when police officers found him Feb. 3, 2018 inside the apartment in the 200 Bock of North Second Street.
Responding officers and medical personnel found several people standing outside the apartment when they arrived. The initial investigation found that Bruegger had been at the LaBonte Bar in Douglas prior to being found dead.
The Douglas Police Department asked DCI to look into the case, and the DCI investigation is ongoing.
