When it comes to self-evaluation, most people have unrealistic standards for themselves. Some people don't like a certain body feature, or wish they could be in better shape, or don't like they way they react to different circumstances. I personally have a cursing problem (which, believe it or not, is pretty normal for radio DJ's...)

Reading some of these responses, I've come to the conclusion that people judge themselves based on their perceptions of other people. "I want a butt like hers", or "I want to be cool as him" are examples of how we, for the most part, think. Meanwhile, the person that you're trying to emulate is having the exact same thoughts. One of those "grass is greener on the other side" sort of things, I think...
