While the band has always had amazing riffs and a tight rhythm section, without Zack's politically inspired lyrics and in-your-face  vocal style, there was nothing even close to fill the void. Rage went on to form Audioslave with ex-Soundgarden front-man Chris Cornell. While good, it wasn't the same.
