What Can A First Time Fan Expect At A Roller Derby Bout?

Casper's own A'Salt Creek Roller Girls take on the Slaughter House Derby Girls from Greeley, CO this Saturday night at the Fairgrounds Industrial Building. Doors open at 6, bout starts at 7. Since the girls haven't had a local bout since May, they decided to give you a preview of what you can expect when the skates hit the track. Below is three different perceptions of what happens once the shoulders and hips start flying. Tickets will be available at the door: $15 for adults, $5 for kids, or 1 free kids ticket with every adult ticket purchased. See you there!

Harm Any:

It is an experience unlike any other. You will see a group of dedicated, strong, competitive women show what they are made of and what they can accomplish as a team. It is fast paced and hard hitting, and you never know what will happen. You will see fierce competition on the track, but a strong sense of camaraderie between the two teams before, during, and after the bout. It is a great family event that everyone can enjoy.

It will be exciting, and energetic. Loud and intense. You will see lots of team work and strategic plays. Hard hits and great athleticism. There will be good sportswoman ship and it will be entertaining. There will be food and drinks, music, and merchandise, cool photo ops and glitter tattoos for the kiddos. I would say that it is going to be awesome :)
