Heartless Thieves Steal Wheelchair Belonging to 9-Year-Old Boy With Cerebral Palsy and Scoliosis [VIDEO]
As far as heinous crimes go, there isn’t much lower than stealing a wheelchair.
A 9-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and scoliosis named Stephen Gibson has been left without his wheelchair after thieves stole it out of his family’s garage last weekend.
It seems the goons broke into the garage to steal some food -- including some hams for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday -- that was stored there. In order to carry out the haul, they busted into the car in the garage and took out Stephen’s wheelchair.
Stephen and his family want the chair returned, with Stephen saying he would forgive whoever is responsible for the crime.
The community, meanwhile, has rallied around them, with people asking how they could help and some companies offering to build Stephen a new customized wheelchair.
