In a recent interview, Buzz Osborne hinted at a very interesting prospect for some Melvins reissues.

No, this isn't a song from a PBS Children's Television Workshop tribute album.

Apparently not content with just fronting three different lineups of the Melvins, singer and guitarist Buzz Osbourne is about to embark on his first-ever solo acoustic tour.

This week is a super-massive round of new music. Tons and tons of good stuff from lots of heavy hitters... but this is the one that caught my eye big time. Everybody Loves Sausages is a covers album from underground sludge-lords The Melvins, and the tunes run the gamut from Queen's You're My Best Friend to Ram Jam's Black Betty, and The Jam's Art School...

The Melvins have announced plans to release an album of obscure, bizarre and otherwise seemingly random covers titled 'Everybody Loves Sausages.' The disc, which will feature guest appearances from the likes of Mudhoney's Mark Arm, Foetus' J. G. Thirlwell and former Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra, drops April 30.
