Lemonade Day is a program to teach youth financial literacy.

In the end, It was Stand #14, from creator Airean Strong, that won the contest. His patriotic-themed stand embodied everything Lemonade Day stands for.

On Wednesday, Hilltop National Bank hosted the Lemonade Day Kickoff and it was certainly a sign of things to come, as more than 300 kiddos turned out to register, to pick up their instructions and, of course, to meet Lemmy the Lemon.

The incident occurred at roughly 12:30 p.m.

After all this crazy "summer" weather that we've had in the last couple of weeks, it's finally time to open the David Street Station splash pad and kick of summertime in Casper!

I've done a ton of community events while working in radio but my favorite one to be apart of is lemonade day. It's so much fun to go out and support all of the kiddos who work so hard putting together their business.

Lemonade Day is a FREE community event, focused on teaching kids how to start and run their own business. Kids keep 100% of the money they make.

The 2018 Lemonade Day kickoff event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1st from 3pm-5pm at Hilltop National Bank’s main branch at 300 Country Club road.

Lemonade Day in Casper is June 24th.

The Casper Chase Fallen Soldiers Memorial 5k Run, 5k Walk and 1k Kids Fun Run is presented by Hilltop National Bank.
