I've been told that many things in Wyoming are a bit bigger than you'll find in other places. That includes birds as this backyard video from a bird feeder in Evanston shows.
This is a cute video. This young lady is having a good time feeding the local wildlife and she gets an unexpected bite from one of the younger deer.on.
Anyone with information on this or any other wildlife violation can call the Stop Poaching Hotline at 1-877-WGFD-TIP, or 1-307-777-4330 for out-of-state calls.
Everyones excited about drawing back their bows and loading up their rifles to take home a deer this hunting season. But let me tell you that they are not very impressed with some of our methods. Like deer decoys for example. Take a look for yourself.
For all of the deer we have around here, why is it that I have never. Not once encountered an albino deer/elk? Hell, I'd take a squirrel at this point.
This is a tale as old as time... THESE ARE WILD ANIMALS. Yes, it is cool to see them in their natural habitat but that doesn't mean that they are cuddly and that they won't hurt you unprovoked.
Seeing deer in our front and back yards around Casper isn't all that new. It's been happening ever since I was a kid and long before that I'm sure. However, I have never gotten too close to them for fear of being headbutted, kicked, licked. Pretty much anything.
I've never been hunting, which is odd considering I was born and raised here. I do know quite a few of my friends and family who do go out and hunt and it's one of their favorite past time hobbies.
