Supermarket Manager Takes Down Robber Who Returned to Store During News Report

They say thieves return to the scene of the crime, but they shouldn’t do it in the middle of a news story about a rash of thefts at said scene.

While giving an interview with a local TV station about a series of robberies in his store, a supermarket manager in Florida notices one of the goons on the premises and proceeds to catch him while the cameras record the whole thing.

Lenin Ubiera-Cruz runs to catch the suspect and throws him down, where the thug tries to plead his innocence in a rather NSFW exchange, to no avail.

The man was arrested and pleaded no contest to petty theft.
