It was two too many, but still the drunk driving arrests for Super Bowl weekend in Natrona County were fewer than last year. Wyoming Department of Transportation  officials say the three day celebration of the Super Bowl, which typically starts Friday, is statistically one of the biggest drinking days in the United States.

According to WYDOT, Natrona County Law Enforcement efforts from February 1st through the 3rd. "Fans Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk", netted two DUI arrests, compared to nine such arrests during last year's Super Bowl weekend.

This year's DUIs were among the 270 traffic stops by all of the participating agencies which included the Casper Police Department, Natrona County Sheriff's Office, Mills Police Department, Evansville Police Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Law enforcement also wrote three child restraint citations, 35 speeding tickets and made a total of 33 arrests, including two for controlled substances.
