(Gibson) Silverchair have announced they are calling it quits, at least for the foreseeable future. In a lengthy statement posted on their Facebook page this morning, the veteran Australian three-piece said that "after much soul-searching … [we're] putting Silverchair into 'indefinite hibernation'." (RockAAA) Alter Bridge's Brian Marshall demanded that Slash give them back their singer in an interview with Grand Rapids rock radio station WGRD at Rock on the Range recently. Joking with the station's Dave Kim when Kim asked him about plans for another Creed album, AB bassist Marshall said: "I wanna say this to Slash…. Give me my singer back, dude! Adelitas Way Drop Album And Hit The Road

(Antimusic) Virgin Records have set a June 7th release date for Adelitas Way's sophomore album, Home School Valedictorian. Adelitas Way will support the effort by taking part in the second annual Carnival of Madness tour alongside Theory of a Deadman, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, and Emphatic. In preparation for that tour, the band will be playing dates with Seether in June beginning on the 2nd in Nashville, TN. Antimusic Has The Tour Dates Here
