WATCH: Kanye West Releases ‘Closed On Sunday’ Music Video Filmed In Wyoming
With all the recent purchases of land in the Cowboy State, a free gospel concert in Cody and the cover of one of his albums taken from outside of a private plane, it's no surprise the second music video from Kanye West's gospel/hip-hop album, Jesus Is King, titled Closed On Sunday, was also completely shot in Wyoming.
The video, which Kanye released on Thanksgiving, features the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan, including Kim's mother Kris. All four of Ye's children are present, as well his father. In addition to family, his Sunday Service choir are also featured prominently.
Much like the video for Follow God, the Jake Schreier directed short is very minimalistic, at least by most hip-hop video standards, with the exception of the fleet of amphibious vehicles (and one G.I. Joe/Cobra tank-like vehicle) that his entourage arrive in.
"Closed On Sunday" has a theme of worshiping on the often followed Christian day of rest, with the obvious reference to Chik-fil-a, which is of course famously closed on Sunday for the same reason.
