Sevendust are building toward the release of their Kill the Flaw album and they got an unexpected plug on Wednesday (Sept. 9). During the live webcast promoting the new Apple TV, Senior Design Producer Jen Folse used the band's single "Thank You" as part of a presentation.

"So you probably wouldn't have guessed it, but I am quite the metal head and this is one of my favorite bands," said Folse, as the single artwork for "Thank You" appeared on the screen. She then used the song as part of the demonstration of some of the features for the Apple TV. The segment was part of a larger presentation that also introduced the new iPhone 6S and the iPad Pro.

As you might have guessed, word traveled fast. And it wasn't long before Sevendust's Lajon Witherspoon hopped on Twitter to thank Folse and the team at Apple for the plug. You can check out his tweet along with video of the point in the presentation where Folse reveals her love for the band below.

"Thank You" is featured on Sevendust's Kill the Flaw album. Fans can pre-order the disc via iTunes and they'll immediately receive "Thank You" along with the preview track "Not Today" as well. The album will be released by the band's own 7Bros. Records label on Oct. 2.

Sevendust are also busy on tour promoting the album. They'll be teaming up with Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin for one of the fall's most anticipated tours. See all of Sevendust's dates here.
