Goodstein Building Crash Defendant Faces New Charges
A Casper man involved in a deadly crash last year, now has one more charge to contest.
A judge has ruled that there is now sufficient evidence and testimony to tack on DUI charges against Scott Coleman, who is already accused of vehicular homicide and aggravated assault.
According to prosecutors, Coleman was involved in a vehicle chase in Casper in May of last year, when he crashed into the Goodstein Building, killing Jeremy Webb.

Initially, a judge threw out the DUI charge, but then prosecutors re-filed.
At a new preliminary hearing, a Casper Police Officer testified that tests showed there was enough marijuana in Coleman’s system to impair his driving.
The defense argued that there’s no set limit on marijuana consumption, in order to consider a driver impaired.
Coleman has already pleaded not guilty by reason of mental illness to the other charges.
