Last week, I wrote a story highlighting how dog poo kills.  Today, it's human do doo.

Yes, human excrement is linked in the deaths of 15,000 Indians per year.  So what's the cause?

The cause are the toilet's on the trains.  If you can call them that.  Not to get graphic, but their version of a toilet is a hole in the train.  Yes, you do your business in a hole in the train.  That means, you can see the ground, the tracks, it's like a Fred Flintstones' Car.  Gross right?  And it sounds pretty dangerous.  What if you fall in?  GROSS!

And gross is right, think about the people who have to service that area...I wouldn't and that's part of the problem:

One member of the investigation committee told the Indian Express newspaper that human excrement has corroded a significant percentage of the country’s 70,000 miles of tracks. Dr Anil Kakodkar, head of the committee, told the newspaper: “It is one of the life limiting factors...because of the pH content of the toilet discharge, there is widespread corrosion of the rails. These toilets need to be discontinued. We also found that maintenance workers often refuse to service the undercarriage of the trains because discharge from toilets makes the undercarriage extremely dirty.”

So plumbing strikes again.  Just put in some plumbing and everything will be fine.  Anyone got the money for it though?

Now here's a thought, curry!!!!! AHHHHH!
