Poll Results Show Casperites Prefer Doing Taxes Online

A couple weeks ago, I asked you how you do your taxes. After receiving 172 votes, it's time for some results:

As you can see from the results, 31.4% of those that took part in the poll prefer to do them online. Considering we live in a digital age where all problems can be solved online, this makes perfect sense. Personally, I like the ease and no-cost of doing my taxes online. No matter what site you use, they walk you through the process step by step, and respond quickly to any questions or concerns you may have.

What did surprise me was the fact that 22.67% still choose to pay a big name tax preparer. These can get costly, and in my own experiences, can cause issues down the road. Why should I pay a ton of money to have someone help me get back money that is already mine? Doesn't make sense to me, but apparently, I'm missing something.

In my own defense, I never did claim to be very smart...
