UPDATE: The lockout at NCSD Central Services Office has been lifted. Local law enforcement has completed their investigation and has determined there is not a threat to NCSD employees at this time.


UPDATE: The District tells K2 Radio News, that Casper police are in contact with the suspected source of the threat and are investigating the incident.

By 8:30 a.m., the "lockout" sign had been removed and the only Casper Police car at the Central Services Facility was gone.


The Natrona County School District sent out this alert just after 8am on Thursday.

Central Services Facility is currently on a lockout due to a threat made specifically to district employees at this location.
Public services will not be available at District offices, 970 N Glenn Road, until further notice.
All district buildings are on heightened awareness.
Once again, the threat is specific to Central Services.
Local law enforcement has been notified and is actively working the situation.
