The Natrona County School District has issued another alert of strangers offering students a ride home.

This time it was near Dean Morgan Jr. High. They warn that parents need to be alert to risks during this Spring Break week. Here is the press release.

NCSD officials received a report that a person in a white SUV offered a student a ride after school hours today (Mar. 23) near Dean Morgan Junior High. The student immediately reported the incident to an adult. Local Law Enforcement was notified of the situation.

As the weather warms up it’s likely students will be walking to and from school more frequently or simply spending time outside enjoying the warmer weather. This is a good opportunity to share some safety reminders with your child.

Please remind them they should not accept rides from unknown individuals or approach unknown vehicles and/or persons. Students should report anything suspicious to their bus driver, school personnel, parent/guardian or local law enforcement.
