Brazen Mother Gets Her Kids to Steal $100,000 Worth of Jewelry [VIDEO]
Stage moms aren't the only ones who use their kids to try and rake in some cash.
A woman in Granite City, Illinois walked into a jewelry store last month and distracted employees, so her children – ages 6 and 8 – could go behind the counters and help themselves to the merchandise. The kids proved to be very efficient, netting $100,000 worth of baubles.
One employee said the mother’s scheme was pretty simple:
The woman was basically blocking his view so the kids could do what she told them to do. She would hand them her purse, and they would take the purse go back there and you can see their little hands going in and grabbing jewelry.”
Authorities have retrieved about $10,000 worth of jewels, while they continue to hunt down a suspect, identified as Geneshia Grey.
