On Memorial Day, the small town of Peetz, Colorado was rattled by severe storms. One of them produced a unique looking "landspout" tornado.

Luckily the tornado touched down in rural farm land and no injuries were reported, however several power lines were damaged causing power outages in the area.

Peetz is just south of Sidney, Nebraska and about 69 miles Southeast of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. The population of Peetz is just over 200.
