Most of the lineup has been announced for this year's annual Dirt Fest. The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, at Birch Run Expo Center in Birch Run, Mich., and Killswitch Engage will headline (watch Banana 101.5's announcement video above).

Some of the other artists confirmed for the festival include Sid Wilson of Slipknot, Powerman 5000, Local H, Redlight King, Nothing More, Smile Empty Soul, Nonpoint, Like a Storm, (hed) p.e., Tantric, Chimaira, Gemini Syndrome, Battlecross, Psychostick, Eyes Set to Kill and more. Two more acts, including another headliner, are yet to be announced. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 23. For details and the complete list of bands, go here.

In a recent interview with Loudwire, Killswitch Engage drummer Justin Foley talked about the setlist they are playing on their current tour:

"We’ve been playing a lot of the new record lately, which is kind of a first for us. We always want to make sure that we’re playing stuff everyone knows and we don’t feel like when something’s new that everyone knows it yet, so we kind of work things in little by little. This one, it’s gone over pretty well, so we just keep putting more and more songs in. Before we knew it, we were playing more than half the record in our headline set, which is pretty cool."

The latest leg of KsE's tour in support of 'Disarm the Descent' wraps up June 1 in Dallas, Texas. Their summer has some European festivals along with a few North American shows in July and August before they head to South America.
