A little town with a big heart raised many thousands of dollars to help remember Brian Scott Gamroth and his support for them. The town of Kaycee held a community fundraiser on February 25, and despite a nasty snowstorm that stranded many residents out of town, the Calcutta, auction items, minnow races and more netted $12,582 to go toward the Brian Scott Gamroth Community Stage being constructed at David Street Station in Casper.

K2 Radio’s Brian Scott, often called “The Voice Of Wyoming”, died suddenly in a motorcycle accident last fall. Event organizer Nicki Taylor called the evening "phenomenol", and praised the many people who donated items and showed their support. "It just showed why Brian loved this community and supported it so much."
