“High Speed” Horse Pursuit In Cheyenne Neighborhood

The Cheyenne Police Department trains for high speed chases often, but they weren't quite sure how to deal with this much... horsepower.

Officers responded to a call Tuesday afternoon from the Dakota Crossing neighborhood of Cheyenne, near Lincolnway and Whitney. Four horses were seen by several home owners roaming around the neighborhood.

After a brief "corralling" session, CPD officers successfully returned most of the horses to their pasture. The CPD Mounted Unit was in pursuit of at least one more horse as of Tuesday afternoon.
