It must have been a pretty slow news day in Greenville, S.C., considering they devoted local television news air time to a sledding guide.

It seems pretty simple: Get a piece of plastic, sit on said piece of plastic and slide down a hill.

One thing you should probably not do is slide head first towards a large block of snow and ice.

WYFF-TV News 4's Myra Ruiz learns that lesson the hard way, as she quickly realizes there's not much she can do to steer out of the way of a coming face smash.

Also, it was a bummer, too, for the photographer, who did not get out of the way of a sledding kid.

But seeing that it's South Carolina and they don't get a whole lot of snow, we are going to give them a pass. At least this time.
