On Monday afternoon, a fire broke out at the top of the recently-closed Colossus roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif.

If you're not familiar with Colossus, it was the roller coaster featured in the 1983 movie " title="National Lampoon's Vacation">"National Lampoons's Vacation."

The fire started around 1:30 p.m. and was contained within a half hour, but not before a large portion of the highest point of the coaster collapsed, KTLA-TV reported. Luckily, the park was closed at the time.

Colossus was permanently closed last month, as it is being replaced with a new coaster, Twisted Colossus.
