Miss USA Nia Sanchez is from Las Vegas in Nevada.

Well, she's technically from Nevada. Apparently after she became Miss USA, lots of people were questioning the authenticity of her actually being from Nevada. There are claims she established residency in Nevada with a pretty light paper trail.

Well, this short clip may help resolve things.

Sanchez was the guest on a morning radio show and was given a pop quiz on the great state of Nevada.

So, you'd think that if you were trying to convince people that you were from a specific place, you'd probably study up a bit on that particular place.

But not Sanchez!

She was asked the softball question of all softball questions: What is the capital of Nevada? But she was stumped. (By the way, the answer is Carson City.)
