Everyone knows that the throwing of the cap at the end of a graduation ceremony is a tradition for any graduate who managed to overcome the trials of high school.

Well, not this time around people!

The graduates of a suburban Chicago high school were denied their diplomas Tuesday after they blatantly disrespected the wishes of the superintendent.

For the safety of everyone in the building, he did not want caps being thrown into the air and he supposedly stressed that many times.

So, what did most every graduate at the high school do? Ignored him, duh! That must have surely put a cap on their high school careers.

Oh, by the way, the decision to deny the grads their diplomas got reversed, WMAQ NBC 5 reported.
