Next week will be a big one for Wyoming Democrats, as both former President Bill Clinton and Jane Sanders stump for their spouses in the Cowboy State.

President Clinton will campaign for Hillary Clinton at a public event at the Kiwanis Community House in Cheyenne at 9:15 a.m. on Monday.

He will discuss why his wife is the best candidate to break down the barriers that hold Americans back and to raise incomes for Wyoming families as President.

Jane Sanders, the wife of U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, will host town hall meetings in Casper and Cheyenne. She will be joined by progressive activist Jim Hightower.

The first town hall meeting will be held at the Wolcott Galleria in Casper at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, and the second will take place at the Cheyenne Depot Museum at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are free and open to the public.

Both President Clinton and Mrs. Sanders are expected to urge Wyoming Democrats to turn out to the caucus on April 9.

"The states that are going to be caucusing in the next several weeks really could make or break this nomination process," said Aimee Van Cleave, Executive Director of the Wyoming Democratic Party. "Every state at this point is important and can have a say."

President Clinton and Bernie Sanders had hoped to visit the state on March 23, but a massive spring snowstorm forced them to cancel their plans.
