Flea Joins Chef Mario Batali for New Episode of ‘Feedback Kitchen’

Last year it was announced that internationally-acclaimed chef Mario Batali was partnering with Dailymotion for a new web series called 'Feedback Kitchen.' On the show, Batali interviews famous musicians and cooks a dish inspired by his guests. Then, to wrap the show up, the musician performs.

Since the announcement, 'Feedback Kitchen' has featured the likes of U2's the Edge, Patti Smith and Josh Groban. Now, we're gearing up for quite possibly the most exciting episode to date when Batali asks the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea to join him in the kitchen.

The full episode is set to premiere on Jan. 26, but in the meantime you can check out a preview in the video above. Even in the span of 90 seconds, Flea and Batali cover a lot of ground.

For the food fans out there, Batali shares why he prefers sea salts over other salts ... and for the Chili Peppers fans, Flea discusses when he knows he's satisfied with a song: "For me, it's like, if I'm just playing something and all of a sudden I realize I'm drooling and completely gone, because I'm hypnotized by what I'm doing, it's something good."
