Marilyn Manson: Courtney Love ‘Was Mad at Me Because I Didn’t Want to F— Her’
Marilyn Manson wants to make sure you know one important fact -- he and Courtney Love are on good terms. He also aims to inform the world that Love and himself have never done the no pants dance, though Courtney has expressed her dissatisfaction with the lack of coitus.
In a new interview with Esquire, Manson says despite what people may think, Love and himself "never really had a falling out." Manson recently tweeted a picture with Love with the caption, "This is what prison rape looks like in my nightmares." Love took the ribbing with good humor, tweeting back, "Nice to see you haven't changed! #hilarious".
"We've always been weird with each other," Manson tells Esquire about his relationship with Love, "because she's slept with pretty much every one of my friends, supposedly. Not me, though. She, one time, told me she was mad at me because I didn't want to f--k her and I was smarter than her. I said, 'Well, you kind of proved your own point right there on that one.'"
Though both Manson and Love scored roles on the recent final season of 'Sons of Anarchy,' the two never appeared together. "We didn't work any scenes together, but I saw her on the red carpet," Manson describes. "Her dress broke, and I said, 'You okay? Your p--sy didn't show, did it?' and she said, 'No,' and I went, "Thank God! That would've been horrible!" That was the only time I f---ed with her. Other than that, I'm cool with Courtney."
As for Courtney's very real feud with Foo Fighters / ex-Nirvana rocker Dave Grohl, the two famously mended fences during Nirvana's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Legal battles over Nirvana's catalog got very ugly between the two, but with an onstage hug at the Rock Hall induction, the hatchet was buried.
