The Fisher-Price Activity Center Was Our iPad
I found one of these bad boys at an estate sale and knew I had to get it.
This was my iPad when I was a baby. You can spin the dial for a while. When you bore yourself of that, push the button to make the bell ring. It was full of sounds and a rotary phone-thing, guessing to get you ready for using your finger to dial a rotary phone or grab or push or manipulate all using your fingers. All of these things, an iPad can't teach your kid.
An iPad teaches you to push on a touch screen and that's about it. This thing has them using all their fingers and twisting their wrists and pushing with pressure. Even if you still have an iPad, and I do, you should find one of these for your baby, too. You had one and you turned out just fine.
