DOUCHE OF THE DAY–Teacher Refuses Easter Eggs, Allows “Spring Spheres”

What a bunch of crap. As if we needed more proof that political correctness is getting out of control, one school in Seattle is no longer using the term “Easter eggs.” Instead, everyone must call them “spring spheres.” According to a high school sophomore who volunteered at a public school’s third grade class, she wanted to hand out little plastic eggs filled with treats to the kids. The teacher advised her it would only be ok if she agreed to call them “spring spheres.” That’s the best they could come up with? "When I took them out of the bag, the teacher said, 'Oh look, spring spheres' and all the kids were like 'Wow, Easter eggs.' So they knew," the teenage volunteer said. Forget politically correct – how about geometrically correct? Eggs are not spheres!
