Nothing screams “class” like using the hole in your floor as an ash tray. The people living in one Portland, Oregon home may have thought they were saving space by dumping their smoldering cigarette remains into the floor hole, but perhaps they failed to realize it was a fire hazard. Seems kind of obvious though, right? Their makeshift ash tray sparked a house fire Wednesday that cost $30,000 in damages. "That's not careless smoking, that's stupid smoking,” said Public Information Officer Paul Corah. This might be a sign that they should quit.
