Casper police say the suspect in Wednesday's child abduction has been located. Additional details are expected from police soon.

The Casper Police Department says the child who was abducted and released Wednesday morning was playing outside when they were taken by a man in a black pickup truck.

Releasing new details late Wednesday, police said that the child was taken at roughly 10:35 a.m. near the intersection of Southwest Wyoming Boulevard and South Coffman Avenue.

The abduction was reported to police at 10:52 a.m. When officers responded to the area, they found that the child had returned to the area and was safe.

The suspect vehicle has been identified as a possible dark-colored 1999-2003 four-door GMC short bed pickup truck with a toolbox and a trim piece down the side. The bed of the truck appears to be filleed with possible construction debris.

The suspect male is described as white with a medium build. He was wearing black hat, black shirt and black pants.

Anyone with a surveillance camera on their car, home or business is asked to look through their security footage for a glimpse of the suspect or the suspect vehicle.
