A Casper man, with the help of a friend, allegedly broke into a building at a local campground and stole a Pac-Man game last week, according to court records.

Keith Crakaal, 24, heard the single felony count of burglary and two misdemeanor drug -- methamphetamine and marijuana -- counts during his initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court on Friday.

Crakaal pleaded guilty to the two misdemeanor counts. Judge Michael Patchen set his bond at $10,000 on the burglary count. Within the next two weeks, Crakaal will have a preliminary hearing about whether the case will be bound over for trial.

The case began Wednesday when Casper police officers responded to a recreational vehicle park on East Yellowstone Highway where an employee said someone stole a Pac-Man arcade game machine from a bath house, according to a police affidavit filed with the circuit court.

The employee had a video camera recording of the suspect vehicle entering the RV park about 1:40 a.m., parking near the bath house in the center of the park for several minutes, and leaving about 1:54 a.m. with the machine in the vehicle's trunk. A screen of a rear window was damaged, and the machine was under that window.

The officers did not have any information about the case until Thursday when the employee posted the burglary on Facebook with a picture of the Pac-Man game machine. The employee received a tip that the machine was in a garage on North Wilson Street.

The officers went to the address where they met Crakaal, who said he recently bought the game machine. Meanwhile a female at the residence approached an officer and told him that there was another male inside the garage and he was the one who stole the game machine.

During their investigation, an officer saw drug paraphernalia in a pickup, and Crakaal was charged with the misdemeanor drug counts.

Crakaal gave officers permission for them to enter the garage where they saw the male and the machine. Officers also learned the male had an outstanding arrest warrant.

The officers took Crakaal and the other male to the Hall of Justice for separate interviews.

The male said he knew Crakaal for about a month. Crakaal told him he bought the game machine and needed help moving it from the RV park. The male said he didn't know the machine was stolen, and was under the impression that Crakaal paid an unknown woman for it.

Crakaal said that woman called him about the machine and that it was for sale.

After officers told him what the other male said, Crakaal said he paid that woman $150 for the key code to the building at the RV park, and that's how he entered the building.

Officers then arrested Crakaal.
