George Everrette Tamblyn was handed the sentence in Natrona County District Court Thursday afternoon. He was convicted of similar crimes in 2012, warranting the life sentence.

Tamblyn will also serve concurrent 10 to 15-year sentences on charges of incest and third-degree sexual abuse of a minor.

According to a heavily redacted affidavit of probable cause, the Wyoming Department of Family Services initially reported the allegations to the Natrona County Sheriff's Office on Jan. 11, 2018.

A sheriff's office investigator assigned to the case discovered Tamblyn's 2012 conviction and learned that the victim in that case had been prepubescent. The investigator also found that Tamblyn had been accused of sexual acts with other children in another state in 2009, but there was no disposition regarding those allegations.

The victim told a Children's Advocacy Project interviewer that Tamblyn showed her his genitals and asked her to perform oral sex, according to the affidavit. The victim described the events as "disgusting."

"[Tambyln] has earned this sentence. He has created two victims," Assistant Natrona County District Attorney Kevin Taheri said during the hearing. "These are horrible crimes."

Tamblyn, who is incarcerated, hung his head as District Court Judge Kerri M. Johnson read the sentence. After court adjourned, Tamblyn threatened some sort of lawsuit regarding the sentence.

In 2011, a 17-year-old girl told a Casper police detective that Tamblyn had sexually molested her when she was 6- or 7-years-old, according to an affidavit filed in the 2012 conviction.
