2018 Haunted House & Trick-Or-Treating Guide For Casper
With Halloween right around the corner, we've put together a list of ghoulishly fun events and free candy hot spots in and around the Casper area.
*if your event isn't listed, feel free to let us know in the comments*
Haunted ambulance returns to Wyoming Medical Center this Halloween! Come see who (or what) we're patching up in the back: A vampire with a broken tooth? A mummy coming apart at the seams? Or maybe it's a werewolf with a bad case of silver poisoning.
Kids of all ages are invited to drop by the WMC haunted ambulance this Halloween for treats and hot chocolate. The ambulance will be located behind the hospital on Third Street, in the parking lot in front of the Casper Surgical Center.
Take a photo of yourself with the ambulance and post it to our Facebook page with the hashtag #MyFavoriteAmbulance, and you'll be entered to win one of our WMC model ambulances.
Where can you go for lots of treats but no tricks? Why City Hall or the County Courthouse, of course! But the fun doesn’t end there. You can also stop by the Casper Police Department and Municipal Court in the Hall of Justice and the Casper Recreation Center. All five of the Casper Fire Stations will have candy for trick or treaters beginning at 5:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, October 31st, these facilities will open their doors to local trick or treaters. Little ghosts and goblins are invited to bring their parents and get an early start on their candy collection by visiting these offices between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Visitors may be surprised to see many government employees joining the fun dressed in their favorite costume.
So carve out some good times and start your Halloween festivities early at the City and County buildings for treats and maybe a few tricks! You’d be ghoulish not to!
It's that time! Last year we teamed up with Pound Puppies Rescue and we are doing it again this year. It's a great scare and a bundle of fun all while supporting two local organizations.
It is fun for the whole family, but some props, scenes, and scares might be too much. Will you make it all the way through?
October 25th-31st from 6pm to 11pm. Closed Sunday
Adults - $10.00
Kids (12 and under) - $5.00
All kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All proceeds go to the Bar Nunn Fire Department, helping with the costs of equipment and training.
Join your Trick-or-Treat friends as you make your way through The Science Zone collecting candy and visiting thirty vendors.
If you're a fan of ghosts and phantoms and things that go bump in the night, it's almost time for the annual eerie ghost-hunting adventure at one of Casper's favorite historical sites. Fort Caspar Museum and the Casper Area Paranormal Seekers are again joining forces for "Ghost Tours of the Fort 2018" leading up to Halloween.
The hour-long Ghost Tours will be on October 26th & 27th, starting every twenty minutes with the first tour leaving at 7:00 p.m. and the last leaving at 10:40 p.m. each night.
Escape307's Halloween room is now officially open! Remember to book and play before October 31st for a chance to win prizes, including custom swag and gift cards, for the top three best win times.
Looking for something Spooktacular this Halloween? Dream Upon a Princess will be presenting the Villains Halloween Carnival at the Nicolaysen Art Museum.
Come out for a wicked good time on Saturday, October 27th, 2018, from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm, featuring all of the fairy tales most wanted. All of the princesses will be on hand as well. A few princesses will be in secluded areas for kids not ready for villains.
There will be games, activities and treats for children of all ages.
Come in on October 26th from 5pm to 8pm wearing a fun, crazy or scary costume and enter in our costume contest to win fun prizes!
There will be 4 categories: best lady's costume, best gentleman's costume, best couples costume and best children's costume. You can also set up teams of 2 or more to compete in our horror movie trivia contest to win additional prizes. NO MASKS! Unless you make it yourself.
Be creative, but most of all...have some fun!
