Zakk Wylde has cleared up doubts surrounding the sudden departure of Black Label Society drummer Will Hunt by explaining the band knew it was going to happen in advance.

Hunt, also of Evanescence, was replaced by Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative fame in Paris last night, and Kelly will continue on the rest of BLS’s European tour.

Wylde says: “Father Will had to take care of commitments he made with the Evanescence gang. It was known about when we recorded Order of the Black. John watched Will kick ass for two church services then rocked the black cathedral of Paris.

“He really played his balls off. Will, your Black Label brothers love you.” (via Rock News Desk)
